Our Story

Women on Global Stages was born from a journey of obedience, rediscovery, and a deep desire to live a life of meaningful impact.

The seed of this vision was first planted in August 2008 during the founder's second year at university. At the time, she sensed a calling toward women empowerment but did not yet understand its full depth or scope.

Years later, in 2024, while working as a freelance writer and editor, she experienced a deep sense of dissatisfaction and loss of joy. That turning point led to reflection and a search for greater meaning.

In November 2024, following her birthday, she felt led to give back to women. What began as a simple birthday outreach on November 16 became a movement when several women reached out for guidance and continuity.

With over 40 women gathered in a WhatsApp group and no clear roadmap, she asked deeper questions about purpose and direction. In that season of seeking, the name Women on Global Stages came strongly.

By faith, she shared the vision with the group, and the response was immediate and overwhelming. Even without full clarity, there was a shared sense that this was the beginning of something meaningful.

WGS was born out of obedience and trust in God, with a belief that the vision would unfold step by step. Over time, that has been exactly the journey.

In February 2026, Women on Global Stages was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), positioning it as a structured organization committed to learning, growth, impact, and purpose for women globally.

Today, WGS continues to grow as a platform where women are guided into clarity, confidence, and global relevance. What began as one step of obedience has become a ripple effect, reaching women across different stages of life and creating lasting impact.
